Hidden Power For Change 1

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us.

Ephesians 3:20

It’s worth noting that great visions are formed or conceived during a mental incubation in the world of imagination. The flashes of ingenuity or sparks of creativity that change the equation in your life are injected in your mind during this period of mental incubation.

IMAGINATION: It is the ability to paint or form a picture in your mind of something you haven’t seen or experienced. It is creating a mental image in your mind of something that is not perceived through five senses.

What you see with your imagination is too powerful and has the capacity to bring unimaginable change in your life. To experience a mind blowing transformation, you need to paint a picture of what you want to become on the canvas of your Imagination Just as an artist uses his brush to create a picture or painting on a material canvas.

It is only in the world of imagination that the poor can see himself rich, the sick will see himself healed, the crippled sees himself walking, the single sees himself married and the job seeker an employer.

And the LORD said unto Abram , after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Genesis 13: 14, 15

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, so shall thy seed be.

Genesis 15: 5

God uses words or images to create a picture of what He says He will do on the mind of the would-be recipient before He does it. God knows if a man is able to capture the future in the form of a picture that his conviction and faith will increase thus, making the spiritual tangible a physical reality. Are you seeing beyond the physical? Do you focus on the natural or the supernatural? What do you behold, the visible or the invisible.

Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

Joshua 6: 1, 2

Jericho was shut up against the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in, yet God said to Joshua, “See” I have given Jericho into your hand. What this statement implies is that Joshua should not see or give attention to how fortified Jericho was; how difficult it was to penetrate and conquer it.

God wanted Joshua to see what He has done and not how fortified Jericho was. As far as God was concerned, the wall of Jericho had collapsed, the king had been captured and the land had been conquered. God wanted Joshua to see from His (God’s) own perspective and vantage point, from the spiritual realm and not from the physical perspective. This is seeing the invisible. Friends, what do you see? Do you see what God has done for us in Christ, what your body tells you, or what the situation presents? Whose reports do you believe?
